[Leapy] New game with devlogs updates
Hello, i'm starting a new game for PC (maybe mobile later) and this time i wan't to try to keep a devlog of progress. I'll try to share the progress of the development and sometimes i'll try to include some notes on how did i achieved some ideas.
The game idea is simple:
It's about a frog that needs to calculate the direction and distance of his jumps in order to always land on a lilypad thus advancing through the level. You lose when you fail a landing and start over again.
As you progress in the level you will get points based on the distance achieved.
That's the basic idea of the game. I'm considering stuff like moving lilypads, blocking objects, times to jump, etc. to increase the difficulty as you play.
I lack skills in art/music so that will show for sure.
I did a fast idea of the level to start working on a prototype and i got this (will improve):
I work on this as a hobby in my spare time. I hope that i can keep it up all the way until it's finished!
